American Pacific Corporation ("American Pacific") (APFC) announced that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement to be acquired by H.I.G. Capital, LLC.  It is an all cash deal that values American Pacific at approximately $392 million.  Under the terms of the proposed transaction, American Pacific's stockholders will receive $46.50 for each share of American Pacific common stock they own. As recently as three months ago, American Pacific traded at $60 per share.
